چکیده

Protein is one of the most expensive nutrients in poultry diets. In an effort to minimize feed costs, protein digestion and utilization by animal must be carried out as efficiently possible. The objective this experiment was evaluate effects dietary amino acid density exogenous protease inclusion on growth performance digestibility turkey poults. Hybrid poults (n = 780) were fed diets formulated provide low (LAA) or adequate (AAA) (approximately 91 100% NRC4 recommended requirement for digestible Lys, respectively) with each diet being without protease. Poults received experimental from d 1 42 age. Growth metrics calculated pen weights consumption recorded throughout experiment, data obtained analysis ileal contents. Data analyzed using SAS 9.4 unit location blocking factor. Effects of Diet Complexity and Fermented Soy Protein on Growth Performance and Apparent Ileal Amino Acid Digestibility in Weanling Pigs

Two experiments were conducted to evaluate the effects of diet complexity and fermented soy protein on growth performance and amino acid digestibility. In Exp. 1, a total of 120 crossbred weanling pigs (5.68±0.80 kg BW) were randomly allocated into 4 treatments. Each treatment had 6 replicate pens comprising 5 pigs in each replicate. Experimental diets consisted of simple (soybean meal as prote...

Nutritional value of white lupins (Lupinus albus) for broilers: apparent metabolisable energy, apparent ileal amino acid digestibility and production performance.

Two experiments were conducted to evaluate the nutritional value of three cultivars (Promore, Kiev mutant and Ultra) of white lupins (Lupinus albus L.) for broilers. In experiment 1, the apparent metabolisable energy (AME) and ileal amino acid digestibility coefficients of the three cultivars were determined. The cultivar effects were significant (P < 0.05) for AME, but the ileal amino acid dig...

Comparison of apparent ileal amino acid digestibility of feed ingredients measured with broilers, layers, and roosters.

The apparent ileal digestibility of amino acids in 7 feed ingredients was determined using broilers, layers, and roosters. The ingredients included 3 cereals (wheat, sorghum, and corn), 3 oilseed meals (canola, cottonseed, and soybean meals), and 1 animal protein meal (meat and bone meal). Dietary protein in the assay diets was supplied solely by the test ingredient. All diets contained 20 g/kg...

Effect of solvent extracted soybean meal and full-fat soya on the protein and amino acid digestibility and body amino acid composition in rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss)

This study was carried out to investigate the apparent digestibility coefficients (ADCs) value of protein, amino acid and energy and body amino acid composition of rainbow trout fed solvent extracted soybean meal (SBM) and full-fat soybean meal (FFS) partly replacing fish meal (FM) in diets. Five iso nitrogenous (average 50.36% crude protein) and energetic (4294 kcal/kg total energy) diets wer...

Effect of dietary protein content on ileal amino acid digestibility, growth performance, and formation of microbial metabolites in ileal and cecal digesta of early-weaned pigs.

Diarrhea incidence in weaned pigs may be associated with the concentration of intestinal microbial metabolites (ammonia, amines, and VFA) that are influenced by dietary CP content. Three experiments were conducted to determine effects of a low-protein, AA-supplemented diet on ileal AA digestibility, growth performance, diarrhea incidence, and concentration of microbial metabolites in ileal and ...
